Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapists focus on building a patient’s strength, endurance, and mobility, along with working toward achieving individual goals the patient may have. In addition to general physical therapy care, our therapists have specializations in incontinence training, vestibular conditions, and neurological disorders. Through home therapy sessions, the therapist guides the patient through the treatment regimen and prescribes home exercises the patient can continue doing independently.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists work with patients on developing fine motor skills and activities of daily living. This focus aids the patient in skills to continue self-care, allows patients to conduct routines at home and promotes functional and safe living. To supplement therapy, the therapists may recommend the use of adaptive equipment and offer family education, ensuring the success of the patient once therapy is completed.
Speech Therapy
Our Speech Therapists address impaired speech, dysphagia, cognitive disorders, communication obstacles and other speech disorders. The therapists use techniques, exercises and equipment to carry out their treatments with the patient. Counseling to family members and caregivers is also conducted, extending the therapeutic effect and enhancing the patient’s outcome when home services cease.
